Vera Polozkova in Amsterdam: big concert and presentation of her new book "Lost and found"

On November 24, 2025, Vera Polozkova, one of the brightest and most popular Russian-language poets of our time, will give a big creative eveningin Amsterdam. On the stage of the historic Zuiderkerk Hall she will present her new book of poems "Lost and found" and perform a poetic and musical program accompanied by composer and musician Alexander Manotskov.

The book "Lost and found " is Vera's first work published outside Russia. It contains 77 texts about love, war, craft, time, memory and lost and found values. The number 77 was not chosen by chance - it was the age of the poetess's mother, who passed away last year.

"This is a book about gratitude for the good fortune of being alive and feeling everything sharper, because no one knows how much time is given and what challenges lie ahead. About what we have learned from losing a lot of things forever," says Vera Polozkova.

A few years ago, Vera Polozkova and Alexander Manotskov reinterpreted the ancient genre of the antiphon, combining poetry, recitation and music into a single form. With this program they have performed in more than 30 countries, constantly updating the content, but maintaining a unique concept.

Both new songs written especially for Vera and favorite poems of the past will be performed in Amsterdam. The audience will be the first to hear fragments from "Lost and found" and to buy a book signed by the author.
