A poetry evening of Dmitry Bykov, a famous poet, writer, journalist and publicist, will be held in Germany. The new author's program "Not a word about love" will combine the reading of poems of recent years and a lively conversation with the audience about time, man and the search for meaning.
The program will feature new poems written over the past three years. These texts are devoted to the themes of war, age, inner balance, justice and personal dialog with God. According to the author, in the new program there are practically no traditional lyrical motifs - love and nostalgia give way to reflections on changes, the pain of time and the structure of the world.
Dmitry Bykov's performances have long become a special genre of literary communication, where poetry is combined with journalism, philosophical reflections and frank conversation with the audience. Each evening is not only a poetry reading, but also an intellectual dialog about modern reality and human values.
Dmitry Bykov is a poet, writer, journalist, scriptwriter, literary critic and teacher. Co-author of the project "Citizen Poet", host of the program "One", lecturer of the project "Direct Speech" for many years, visiting professor at Princeton University and winner of numerous literary awards. Author of dozens of books, collections of poetry and journalistic works.
