How is the human brain changing in the age of neural networks? Will we become smarter thanks to artificial intelligence or, on the contrary, will we start losing important skills? What happens when humans and AI learn from each other on a daily basis? These and many other questions will be the main topic of the meeting with Ilya Kolmanovsky in Hamburg.
Today, millions of people use neural networks for work, learning and creativity. We create prompts to retrieve texts, images and recommendations, and algorithms analyze our behavior and adapt to it. However, the process is two-way: as technology changes, so do we. At the lecture, participants will learn how the interaction between the human brain and artificial intelligence is developing and what consequences it may have for the future of society.
During the meeting Ilya Kolmanovsky will discuss modern scientific research and ideas that are in the center of attention of the world scientific community today:
"The heroes of this conversation are scientists and their volunteers, chess players and doctors, judges and financiers, children and dogs. Well, and, of course, neural networks," notes Ilya Kolmanovsky.
Ilya Kolmanovsky is a candidate of biological sciences, science journalist, author of popular science books, host of the popular podcast "Naked Digger", traveler and a regular lecturer of the educational project "Direct Speech". His presentations are devoted to the most relevant discoveries of modern science and help the audience to understand complex issues in an accessible language.
