Alexander Filippenko is rightfully considered one of the best interpreters of the art word. His performances have long gone beyond traditional reading - it is a full-fledged theatrical genre, in which prose and poetry take on a new sound. The actor does not just recite texts, but deeply lives each work, turning the literary material into an emotional and dramatic stage story.
The concert program organically combines classics and personal memories of the artist. The audience is waiting for a lively dialog with the era through stories about working with prominent cultural figures - Alexei German, Sergei Yursky, Sergei Loznitsa and others. A special place will be taken by stories about the shooting of various screen adaptations of the novel Master and Margarita.
This evening will be heard fragments from iconic works of Russian literature: "Dead Souls" by Nikolai Gogol, short stories by Mikhail Zoshchenko ("Product Quality", "Steamboat"), "The Christmas Star" by Boris Pasternak, "The Reserve" by Sergei Dovlatov, as well as poems by Yuri Levitansky, Semyon Kirsanov and Zhenya Berkovich.
Alexander Filippenko's literary concert is a rare opportunity to touch the living word performed by a master, hear classical works in a new interpretation and immerse yourself in the atmosphere of intellectual theater.
The duration of the program is about 2 hours.
