Political scientist Ekaterina Shulman and journalist Maxim Kurnikov are going on a European tour with a series of public lectures and special editions of the author's program "Status".
Ekaterina Shulman is a political scientist, publicist, PhD in political science, one of the most prominent Russian-speaking experts on Russian legislation, political institutions and social processes. Her speeches are appreciated for their academic precision, clear language and ability to talk about complex political topics in an accessible and structured way, without simplifications and slogans.
Maxim Kurnikov is a journalist and media manager, leading editor of the Russian-language service Bild, and head of the Internet publication Echo. His professional focus is contemporary politics, media and social transformations.
All events are held in Russian. After the speeches there will be a Q&A session, as well as book signing and book sales.

"Status " is Ekaterina Shulman's weekly political-educational program, which she co-hosts with Maxim Kurnikov. The program analyzes key events on the current agenda, as well as less visible but fundamentally important processes in politics, culture and social life. The format combines a detailed analysis of topics and a lively dialog with the audience.
