In the spring of 2026 in several German cities will be held the long-awaited premiere - the play "CHEMODAN" based on the works of the outstanding Russian writer Sergei Dovlatov. This is a unique theater project with live music, strong acting and deep emotional content.
The play tells about eternal themes - about life away from home, about memory, love and hope. What do we take with us when we leave? What is left behind when everything else is lost? "CHEMODAN" is a story about the things that shape us and give us strength even in the most difficult times.
About the play:
Based on Sergei Dovlatov's prose - ironic, honest, poignant - a production in which laughter and nostalgia live side by side has been created. The performance becomes personal for each spectator, especially for those who know what it means to be away from home.
In the main roles:
Alexei Kortnev - musician, actor, TV presenter, leader of the group "Neschastny Chance"
Alexei Agranovich - actor, director, producer, former director of the "Gogol Center", nominee for the award "Golden Mask"
Semyon Treskunov - famous Russian actor of movies and TV series "Ghost", "Honest Pioneer", "Ivanov-Ivanov"
Nina Shkara - pianist, organist and vocalist, participant in opera productions at the Hermitage and Alexandrinsky theaters
Original music created especially for the production complements the stage action and enhances the dramaturgical depth. This is a performance where theatrical art is combined with concert energy, and simple things take on symbolic meaning.
