Stas Florentsev. The play "No Such Name"

Radio host, showman, actor and professional entertainer Stas Florentsev presents his new one-man show "No Such Name" in Germany. Florentsev is well known not only for his author programs on Riga radio, but also for his vivid shows, whose style is a combination of subtle humor, lively communication with the audience and the ability to turn any story into a small performance.

He is recognized by his voice. His creative luggage includes more than 18 years of broadcasts on the famous radio in Latvia, work on radio stations in America and New Zealand, and shooting in international movie projects. Viewers will surely remember the bright episodic roles of Stas Florencev in the films "Faster than Rabbits" and "Granny of Easy Behavior 2. Older Avengers."

In the mono-performance "There is no such name" Florentsev touches on topics completely different than ĸ once in the entertainmentĸacular show. He goes through a ĸромĸ range of emotions: from joy and euphoria, through longing and anxiety ĸ calmness.

"No Such Name" is an interactive performance, where the artist shares stories about funny and tragic, about his experiences personally and together with the whole country.

Stas Florentsev calls his performance a stand-up tragedy. But in fact, it is a stand-up with elements of storytelling, going beyond the genre, a performance-reflection, where jokes hide a deep meaning. It makes you not only laugh, but also think, empathize and indulge in nostalgia. After all, each of us - albeit in our own way, but still in many ways similar - have ideas about what is good and evil, what makes us smile and what makes us sad, what is really important and really matters.
