Lieutenant Colonel Anton Sergeyevich’s orderly life is suddenly turned upside down. Three women appear in his life at once—vibrant, attractive, extraordinary, and each unique in her own way. Three “divas,” three personalities, and one utterly tangled situation.
How will Anton Serhiyovych find himself at the center of this whirlwind of romance? And will he be able to make sense of what’s happening? The answers lie on stage in the play “The BEST. Divas on the Eve of Christmas.”
The leading roles are played by the principal actors of the Ivan Franko National Academic Drama Theater—true stars of the Ukrainian stage: Natalia Sumska, Anatoliy Khostikoev, Lyudmila Smorodina, and Lyubov Kubyuk.
Natalia Sumska is a People’s Artist of Ukraine, known for her numerous theater and film roles. Anatoliy Khostikoev is a People’s Artist of Ukraine and a laureate of the Taras Shevchenko National Prize of Ukraine. Lyudmila Smorodina is a People’s Artist of Ukraine who has played over 40 roles at the Ivan Franko Theater. Lyubov Kubyuk is an Honored Artist of Ukraine and an actress at the Ivan Franko National Academic Drama Theater.
“The BEST” is a lighthearted and dynamic comedy of manners, where love, jealousy, humor, and unexpected twists come together to form one vibrant, festive story.
