In December 2024, Vera Polozkova will present her new book "Lost and found" in Germany and Vienna. Under one cover, it collects texts "about love, about war, about craft, about time, about memory, about what is lost and what is found." The book is Polozkova's first non-Russian publication.

There are 77 texts in the book "Lost and found". 77 is the age of the poetess's mother, who passed away this year. "Lostandfound"by VeraPolozkova

Vera Polozkova dedicated the book and the concert series to her memory, "her heart, her strength, her humor, her incredible, indomitable will to live and her ability to brighten the days of everyone she loved." As Polozkova herself says, "this is not a memorial or mourning book, my mother would not have wanted that. Rather, it's about gratitude for the good fortune of being alive and feeling everything three times sharper, because no one now knows how much will be let go and what remains to be experienced. It's about what we've learned to appreciate after losing a lot of things forever."

"Lost and found" is the sixth book of poems written between 2021 and 2024. Most of the book's photo illustrations are by Vera Polozkova herself.

Vera Polozkova is a poet, thanks to whom poetry has become fashionable again. Together with composer Alexander Manotskov, they gave new life to the genre of the antiphon - the smooth chanting of Catholic masses, during which poetry, recitation and music are woven together.

"Antiphons" by Polozkova and Manotskov were presented to audiences in 24 countries last season. While maintaining the same concept, the authors are constantly updating the content. In the new program, texts from the new book will be presented in the antiphon genre.

Vera Polozkova is rightly considered the poetic voice of the era. "Antiphons" Polozkova and Manotskov in Germany and in Vienna promise to be a significant event. Don't miss the opportunity to personally get acquainted with their work and plunge into the sublime poetic atmosphere.
