Tchaikovsky’s "Nutcracker", performed by a star-studded Italian ensemble

The world-famous Christmas classic returns to the stage in a new, spectacular production that combines the traditions of classical ballet with contemporary choreography.

Pyotr Tchaikovsky’s “Nutcracker”—one of the world’s most beloved and recognizable ballets—comes to life once again on stage thanks to the tour of the Naples Classical Ballet. Created by representatives of a country rightly called the cradle of European dance, this production invites audiences into an atmosphere of Christmas magic, beauty, and inspiration.

For over a century, The Nutcracker has remained an integral part of the Christmas and New Year’s holidays, drawing full houses around the world. A touching story, magnificent music, and a fairy-tale atmosphere make this performance a true symbol of the winter season for audiences of all ages.

At the heart of the story is young Clara, who on Christmas Eve finds herself in a wondrous world of miracles and fantasy. Together with the Nutcracker, she embarks on an exciting journey where toys come to life, epic battles with the mouse army unfold, and a story of true love is born. This production carefully preserves the spirit of the original work, complementing it with modern staging and expressive choreography.

Audiences can expect a large-scale theatrical production in which every detail contributes to creating a festive atmosphere. Lavish costumes, impressive sets, and a high level of artistic mastery transform the performance into a true visual and musical spectacle.

“Especially during the Christmas season, ‘The Nutcracker’ is not just a ballet, but a true portal to a world where miracles are possible. For one evening, the audience has the opportunity to believe once again in magic, goodness, and the power of love. This is precisely the enduring value of this story,” notes the company’s artistic director.
