Scientific Outcomes 2025: What scientists have discovered and how the future is coming

On November 9 in Munich and November 16 in Cologne there will be a lecture by renowned science journalist and podcaster Ilya Kolmanovsky - "Scientific Summaries of the Year". This is a vibrant science stand-up for adults, where the most recent discoveries of 2025 are told with humor, accuracy and surprise.

What if a virus could save a life and artificial intelligence could become a parent? Why are ants, humans and even mice changing the usual boundaries of the possible?
Ilya Kolmanovsky has collected the most important discoveries of the past year and will explain how they change science, medicine and ideas about the future.

You will learn:

  • how scientists introduced a virus into the human brain to cure a serious disease;

  • how two males were able to have offspring and even become grandfathers;

  • how one queen learned to give birth to slaves of another species;

  • whether it's true that someone has already gotten pregnant by an artificial intelligence.

The lecture will be interesting for adult listeners, but teenagers will also find a lot of surprising things.

Ilya Kolmanovsky is a PhD in biology, science journalist, and author of the podcasts "Naked Digger" and "One and a Half Digger".
Every day he studies the latest scientific publications, talks to researchers and visits laboratories to talk about the most advanced discoveries. His lectures are a lively interaction, an exchange of ideas and an opportunity to understand what's new in science right now.

Duration: about 1 hour 30 minutes
Lecture language: Russian
