Alexander Vasiliev in Belgrade. Secrets of fashion houses

Belgrade will host the lecture "Secrets of Fashion Houses" by Alexander Vasiljev, a world-renowned fashion historian, collector, theatrical artist, stage designer, author of more than 30 books and former host of the Fashion Verdict program.

"Secrets of fashion houses" - is the author's view of the history of high fashion and behind the scenes of the fashion industry. In the center of attention - the fate of legendary couturiers, including Christian Dior, Coco Chanel, Gianni Versace, Yves Saint Laurent and others. Their names have become symbols of epochs, and the fashion houses they created are part of the world cultural history.

During the lecture Alexander Vasiliev will tell how the aesthetic codes of the leading brands were formed, what intrigues and myths accompanied the great fashion designers and on what trends and financial mechanisms the modern fashion industry is based. Special attention will be paid to why some designers become legends and retain their influence for decades.

After the lecture guests will be able to get an autograph and take a photo with the maestro.
