Winter Magic: Ballet Stories by Candlelight

This unique ballet gala evening, featuring international soloists and a chamber orchestra, will treat audiences to the atmosphere of a Christmas fairy tale, live performances of classical masterpieces, and unforgettable emotions.

In the run-up to the winter holidays, Germany will host one of the season’s most spectacular cultural events—the gala evening “Winter Magic: Ballet Stories by Candlelight.” This unique project brings together world-class ballet, live musical accompaniment, and the enchanting atmosphere of thousands of candles.

Audiences are in for a journey into the world of classical ballet, where legendary scenes from the world’s most famous choreographic productions come to life to the sounds of a chamber orchestra. Thousands of LED candles fill the space with soft light, creating a truly magical atmosphere that will impress both adults and children alike.

The project’s artistic director and choreographer is a world-class prima ballerina with more than 30 years of experience performing on leading theater stages across Europe and Asia. She is a laureate of international competitions and a member of the UNESCO International Dance Council.

Talented international soloists will take the stage, and the musical accompaniment will be provided by a professional chamber orchestra, whose members have extensive experience performing in renowned theaters, concert halls, and philharmonic venues across Europe.

The program features the most spectacular and audience-favorite excerpts from great ballet productions:

• “Swan Lake”;
• “La Bayadère”;
