The International Festival Ballet and Festival Orchestra present one of the world’s most famous ballets— Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s *The Nutcracker*. Timeless music, classic choreography by Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov, magnificent sets and costumes, virtuoso dancing, and live orchestral accompaniment will create the authentic atmosphere of a Christmas fairy tale on stage.

At the heart of the story is young Marie, who receives a Nutcracker as a gift on Christmas Eve. At night, the familiar world comes to life: toy soldiers engage in battle with the Mouse King’s army, the Nutcracker transforms into a handsome prince, and an amazing journey to the magical Kingdom of Sweets awaits the heroes.
