Kirill Richter literally burst into the music world in 2016, when recordings of his waltzes were noticed by the Swedish label 1631 Recordings and offered the young pianist to record an album.

Richter's career has developed rapidly. He participated in many landmark European music festivals, among them Reeperbahn in Hamburg, Britain's The Great Escape, and Classical:Next in Amsterdam. The young pianist has also been invited by the renowned Royal Albert Hall in London and Hamburg's Elbphilharmonie.

As a composer, Kirill Richter has written music for many feature and short films, musical and theatrical productions.

Richter's Seven Ages, a musical cycle of seven compositions, epitomizes a person's life journey from the first steps of childhood, active adolescence and experienced maturity to a peaceful old age so similar to childhood.
