Giovanni Sollima has gained recognition as a composer and cellist. His works are often performed in productions at the world's leading theaters. Sollima is known for his experiments in various musical styles, including jazz, rock, electronica, minimalism, and Sicilian and Mediterranean folkloric motifs. The concert will feature his best-known works such as Lamentatio, Alone and Lama, as well as works by other composers specially selected for this evening.
