Viktor Shenderovich's play "Conception" premieres in Berlin: satire, history and modernity

On October 18, the cult Berlin club Musikbrauerei will host the long-awaited premiere of a new play "Concept" by the famous Russian playwright Viktor Shenderovich. This event will be a real gift for all connoisseurs of modern drama and political theater.

In this witty tragicomedy, combining elements of satire and historical drama, the author explores the eternal themes of the collapse of empires, the rewriting of history and the struggle for power. The play is set in ancient Rome, but its images and events are strikingly in tune with our modern reality. Russian theater stars Chulpan Khamatova and Maxim Sukhanov will take the stage. They will be joined by famous political scientist Ekaterina Shulman and journalist Maxim Kurnikov. The production was directed by the talented Marat Gatsalov.
