Little Big
Rave, absurdity and dance-pop energy
Little Big is a music project founded in Saint Petersburg in 2013. Its founders include musician and frontman Ilya Prusikin. The group gained international recognition through eccentric music videos and “Skibidi”, whose dance routine sparked an online challenge. In 2020, Little Big released “UNO”, the song selected for its Eurovision Song Contest entry before the event was cancelled.
Little Big’s music combines electronic beats, rave and punk-pop with satire and deliberately absurd imagery. Short musical motifs, catchy choruses and distinctive choreography make the visual element an integral part of the songs. Beneath the apparent simplicity lies a playful take on pop culture and familiar clichés, with humour and the grotesque shaping the project’s identity.
