Gleb Samoilov & The Matrixx

Gleb Samoilov & The Matrixx is a rock band formed in 2010 by Gleb Samoylov, vocalist, composer and one of the principal songwriters of “Агата Кристи”. The new band gave him a space to pursue his own musical ideas. Released that same year, its debut album “Прекрасное жестоко” established a sound combining guitars, electronics and expressive lyrics.

The Matrixx’s music brings together heavy riffs, pulsing rhythms, melodic hooks and dark lyrics. Its songs explore love, loneliness, inner conflict and the search for freedom, blending drama with irony and grotesque imagery. Samoylov’s distinctive voice and the contrast between abrasive sounds and vulnerable delivery give the band its emotional intensity.
