The pianist of Simple Music Ensemble World has prepared for you a unique programme featuring the best works of Japanese composer Joe Hisaishi, written for Hayao Miyazaki's animated masterpieces.
His melodies, familiar to all fans of Japanese animation, will allow listeners to immerse themselves in the fantastic world of anime. The concert will focus on piano versions of iconic compositions from films such as My Neighbour Totoro, Chihiro's Journey, Princess Mononoke, The Walking Castle and many other works that have become classics of world animation.
Although no film screenings are provided, the music will convey the depth and atmosphere of these animated films, giving audiences the opportunity to enjoy Hisaishi's musical masterpieces in a live performance.
