Critical Bow will present the Anime & Game Music program in Hamburg: iconic anime and video game soundtracks performed by the cello duo

Critical Bow is a creative alliance of professional cellists Cicely Parnas and Gagik Makichyan, who combine classical performance school with a modern perspective on the art of music. Their new program Anime & Game Music brings together the most recognizable melodies from the world of Japanese animation and video games, turning them into an integral musical journey.

The concert program includes works from well-known game universes including The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Baldur's Gate 3, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Genshin Impact and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. Epic orchestral themes and emotional musical stories will be performed in an unusual chamber interpretation, revealing familiar compositions from a new side.

A special place in the program is taken by music from famous anime. The audience will hear Joe Hisaishi 's works from the animated films Spirited Away and My Neighbor Totoro, as well as themes from popular projects such as Demon Slayer, Attack on Titan, Tokyo Ghoul, Naruto: Shippuden, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Sailor Moon, Pokémon and The Apothecary Diaries.

With the expressive sound of the two cellos, familiar soundtracks take on a new dimension. The deep timbre of the instruments allows the scale and emotional power of the original works to be preserved, while giving them a special chamber, subtlety and artistic depth.
