On November 28, 2026, Hamburg will host a special instrumental concert titled “Queen’s Music,” dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Freddie Mercury’s birth. The concert will serve as a musical tribute to the legendary singer’s work.

Queen’s hits will be performed in a completely new format—without vocals, but with a special emotional depth. The grand piano, string instruments, and the rhythmic cadence of the cajón will blend the energy of rock music with the elegance of classical sound.

The program features Queen’s famous melodies and compositions: from heartfelt ballads to epic rock anthems that have remained part of global musical culture for decades. The audience can look forward to an intimate yet powerful interpretation of the music of Freddie Mercury and his band.

This evening will be an opportunity to hear familiar songs in a new light—with a closer focus on melody, harmony, and instrumental mastery—and to celebrate together the 80th birthday of one of the 20th century’s most iconic musicians.

This is a tribute concert that does not feature any original members of Queen.
