Olga Romanova and Dima Zitser present: "Frau. Rehearsal" - a documentary performance about war, guilt and responsibility.

This unique performance, based on real events, tells about the lives of two women whose fates were connected with the tragic pages of history.

One of the heroines is an elderly German woman, a witness of the Second World War. Her story is a path from blind faith in the Nazi regime to the realization of the horror of what was done. The second heroine is Olga Romanova herself, a well-known journalist, human rights activist, public figure, whose biography is inextricably linked to the history of Russia.

In 2013, journalist and playwright Artur Solomonov recorded a candid interview with the Berlin Frau, which became the basis for the play. Director Dima Zitser (also known as a teacher, writer, blogger and radio host) turned this material into a poignant story about the search for answers to the most difficult questions.

"Frau. Rehearsal" is an uncompromising conversation about how we allowed the war to happen, where was the point of no return and what is our personal responsibility for what is happening. Olga Romanova, one of the brightest journalists of the 90s and 2000s, speaks with utmost frankness about herself, her victories and mistakes, her guilt. And this conversation becomes a conversation about each of us.

Don't miss this poignant and topical performance!
