Ilya Kolmanovsky will present in Germany an interactive science show "The Naked Digger: Animal Superpowers", an exciting educational event for the whole family, which will take place in Stuttgart and Düsseldorf.

On April 25 in Stuttgart and April 26 in Düsseldorf, Ilya Kolmanovsky, a renowned biologist, science journalist and science popularizer, will present a science show for children from 6 years old and their parents. The program combines elements of lecture, demonstrations and live interaction, making complex scientific topics accessible and interesting for a wide audience.

The focus is on animal superpowers and their role in the development of modern technology. Audiences will learn how observations of nature are helping scientists and engineers create innovative materials, medical solutions and digital sensor systems. Special attention is paid to the application of biodiversity in the era of synthetic biology.

During the show Ilya Kolmanovsky will answer popular and unexpected questions: why canaries have become a symbol of danger warning, how the blood of swordtails is used in medicine, who pioneered the pregnancy test, and whether snail venoms can really be used to treat diseases. Guests will also learn how animals inspire the creation of the "electronic nose" and what role dogs play in modern medicine.

Ilya Kolmanovsky - PhD in Biology, author of the popular podcasts "The Naked Digger" and "One and a Half Digger", is known for his ability to tell fascinating stories about science and find a common language with children's audiences.

Recommended age: for children ages 6 to 100 :)

Duration: about 1 hour 30 minutes
