One grand piano. Dozens of worlds. Miyazaki’s magic reimagined.

Hayao Miyazaki’s legendary animated films have long since ceased to be mere cartoons—they are entire worlds filled with wonders, profound emotions, and unforgettable music. Now, the famous soundtracks by Joe Hisaishi and other composers from *Spirited Away*, *My Neighbor Totoro*, *Howl’s Moving Castle*, and other cult classics will be performed in a special format—as a solo piano recital.

The music from Miyazaki’s universe is an art form in its own right. It has the power to transport the listener to Porco Rosso’s airplane soaring over the sea, to the cozy workshop from *Kiki’s Delivery Service*, or to the mysterious world of *Spirited Away*. Some melodies sound gentle and lyrical, while others are filled with drama and grandeur, creating a unique emotional palette that resonates equally with children and adults.

*Solo Piano: Music of the Miyazaki World* by The Symphonians is a musical journey through time and space, an opportunity to relive the magic of stories familiar from childhood through the virtuoso sound of the grand piano. The minimalist format allows listeners to hear familiar compositions in a new light, focusing on every note, intonation, and emotional nuance of the music.

The Symphonians is an international musical ensemble bringing together professional musicians from different countries. The project is constantly evolving and creating new concert programs, revealing familiar music from different perspectives. In every country, The Symphonians’ music takes on a new sound, while preserving what matters most: a meticulously crafted performance, emotional depth, and attention to every musical detail.

Solo Piano: Music of the Miyazaki World by The Symphonians is a concert for everyone who loves Joe Hisaishi’s music, Hayao Miyazaki’s films, and the atmosphere of Studio Ghibli. It’s an opportunity to step inside your favorite stories for one evening and hear their music in an intimate and particularly expressive interpretation.
