"The Lost Mirror": a musical fairy tale for the whole family

In Germany you will be able to see "The Lost Mirror" already in November 2024. The performances will take place in Bad Homburg (Frankfurt), Munich and Neuss (Düsseldorf).

The theatrical production "The Lost Mirror" "grew" from an audio story based on the work of the same name by writer and artist Pavel Papperstein, created by the soloist of the band SBHR Kirill Ivanov and theater director, choreographer and director Oleg Glushkov. On streaming platforms "Lost Mirror" appeared in 2021, and two years later the authors presented the performance in Europe.

"The Lost Mirror" is a kind tale with warm notes of nostalgia about the adventure of a hand mirror with a shard of star on its handle. During his amazing journey, the Mirror overcomes many obstacles, escaping from thieves and vagabonds and escaping from the captivity of the Diving Bird. He has heart-to-heart conversations with Trumo and the Mermaid Professor, meets garden kittens and learns about the existence of a sausage reticule. Mirror manages to find himself in absolutely incredible places, for example, in the chocolate zoo. And its magic power lies in the fact that it can reflect sorrows and joys, despair and hope, rejection and love. And those who possess it, the Mirror helps in the realization of cherished wishes. Even if it is a flight into space! But most importantly, thanks to the Mirror Mirror, the audience manages to realize something important about themselves and the world around them: magic can happen to anyone, and you don't have to be magical to make it happen.

The action of the fairy tale unfolds against the background of video-decorations with illustrations by Pavel Pepperstein. Surrealistic costumes were invented by artists Polina Grechko and Maria Levina and created from improvised materials by an international team.

And, of course, you will be able to hear kind songs written by the SBHR group, familiar to listeners audio stories, as well as new compositions created especially for the performance. All songs will be performed live on stage.
