We invite you to a meeting with "Echoes" in Berlin!

On March 28, the Wabe Cultural Center will be a platform to discuss the "return to traditional values," a concept that plays a key role in contemporary Russian ideology. Anthropologist Alexandra Arkhipova, creator of the channel "(Un)entertaining anthropology" and PhD in philology, will present her analysis of this phenomenon. What kind of values are implied? Do they have historical roots, or are they a new formation? What were the dynamics of relations between men and women in the Soviet and post-Soviet periods? What is the nature of customs such as adding menstrual blood to beer for men? How do the proverb "a good man does not lie on the road" and the erotic game "bottle" relate to true family values?

The conversation will be moderated by journalist Tatiana Felgengauer.

After the presentation, the audience will have the opportunity to ask questions.

Start of the event: 18:30.

The meeting will be held in Russian.
