Olga Malashchenko — candid stand-up about relationships and friendship

Olga Malashchenko is a stand-up comedian from the Kaliningrad region and a regular performer on TNT’s “Женский стендап”. Her introduction to comedy came through student KVN, a comedy competition; before performing professionally, she worked as a reporter for the music television channel “Muz-TV”. Open-mic nights and appearances at Moscow clubs later led her to television, solo shows and online comedy projects.

Her stand-up centres on relationships, friendship and everyday situations that people do not always discuss openly. Malashchenko draws on personal experiences and observations, combining directness with self-deprecating humour. Her delivery can be sharp, but her candid take on familiar stories defines her comedy: she avoids idealising either herself or the people around her.
