Kovacs

Kovacs is the stage name of Dutch singer Sharon Kovacs, known for her deep, smoky voice and expressive delivery. She graduated from the Rock City Institute in Eindhoven and began working with producer Oscar Holleman. Her debut EP “My Love”, partly recorded in Cuba, appeared in 2014, followed by her first full-length album, “Shades of Black”, in 2015.

Her music blends soul and jazz-inflected textures with pop melodies and atmospheric arrangements. Songs about love, vulnerability and inner strength unfold as personal stories, bringing tenderness together with drama. Her rich vocal tone, carefully placed pauses and nuanced phrasing create a cinematic mood that moves from understated melancholy to emotional intensity.
