In 2026, the classical ballet of Naples presents an elegant production of Cinderella to music by Sergei Prokofiev, one of the most poetic and recognizable masterpieces of world ballet.
The story of Cinderella has remained one of the most inspiring stories on the world stage for over a hundred years. Based on the famous fairy tale about a kind and bright girl, the ballet Cinderella combines expressive dramaturgy, brilliant musicality and deep emotionality.
The libretto reveals the heroine's journey from her unremarkable position to her inner transformation, leading her towards destiny and love's illumination. The appearance of the Prince, the gradual emergence of feelings and the fulfillment of a cherished dream - all this creates the basis for an artistic statement in the best traditions of the classical ballet school.
The production in two acts was created by choreographer Andrei Lyapin, who managed to preserve the pristine structure of the performance while filling it with modern artistic nuances.
On tour is the renommierte italienische Ballettcompagnie, known for its high performance skills and careful attitude to the classical heritage. This ballet company formed its artistic face in the historical "cradle of European dance", preserving the Neapolitan school as a benchmark of precision, expressiveness and stylistic nobility.
