A Magical New Year’s Tree: “The New Year’s Adventures of Grandfather Frost and the Snow Maiden” in Germany: A Magical Show for the Whole Family

As the winter holidays approach, the International Theater for Young Audiences invites children and parents to a spectacular New Year’s tree celebration, “The New Year’s Adventures of Grandfather Frost and the Snow Maiden” — an interactive fairy-tale performance that will immerse guests in an atmosphere of true magic, joy, and New Year’s wonders.

This New Year’s performance will be an unforgettable experience for children of all ages. Audiences can look forward to a captivating story in which they will not only follow the plot as it unfolds but also become active participants in the fairy-tale adventures.

In the story, the cunning Baba Yaga steals Grandfather Frost’s magic staff and his sack of gifts. Together with the kind Snowman, fairy-tale heroes, and other characters, the young audience members will help Grandfather Frost and the Snow Maiden overcome all obstacles, recover the magical holiday items, and save New Year’s.

The performance is filled with interactive elements, fun games, music, and vibrant stage effects. The Young Spectator Theater will create a truly festive atmosphere for guests, filled with kindness, laughter, and the spirit of the New Year.

After the performance, a big entertainment program awaits the children near the New Year’s tree. In the lobby, guests will be greeted by life-size puppets, clowns, and their favorite fairy-tale characters. Young audience members will be able to take part in fun contests, games, circle dances, and a festive disco.

A special highlight of the program will be a meeting with Grandfather Frost and the Snow Maiden. In keeping with tradition, anyone who wishes can have their picture taken for free with the main characters of the New Year’s celebration next to the beautiful Christmas tree. The event will conclude with a festive New Year’s train ride that will take the children to their long-awaited gifts.

Each child’s ticket includes a sweet New Year’s gift. Children under 3 years old can attend the performance for free with a parent’s ticket.

The performance lasts 60 minutes, and the festive program near the Christmas tree lasts 30 minutes.
