on May 15, 2020, the Federal Parliament (Bundestag) with the approval of the Federal Council (Bundesrat) passed the "Law to Mitigate the Consequences of the COVID-19 Pandemic in the Event Contract Law and in the Law of European Society (SE) and European Cooperative Society (SCE)".
This law primarily serves to preserve the cultural events in Germany, but also to mitigate the consequences not only for the entire industry, but also for end customers who, in the event of an inevitable series of insolvencies, could not visit the purchased events across the country nor get the refund for this.
According to the new law, the organizer has the right to give the holder of an admission ticket purchased before March 8, 2020, in case that the event could not take place due to the COVID-19 pandemic, instead of a reimbursement of the admission price, a voucher of the same value.
If this voucher has not been redeemed by December 31, 2021, the holder can request payment of the voucher value.
The organizers decide how to deal with canceled or postponed events. Bilet.Kartina.TV is not itself a concert organizer, but a ticket broker and sales service provider and thus an interface between organizers and viewers. All important decisions regarding event processing are always made by the organizer.
We hope for your understanding.
